The 2023-2024 cohort, composed of displaced and refugee children, completed their studies with a 100% pass rate, demonstrating the effectiveness of this approach despite severe challenges in Yemen\u2019s education system.<\/p>
Students, many of whom previously had no formal education, were empowered to pursue their passions and rebuild their confidence. “Before joining SIR, my life lacked goals, friends, and dreams,” shared 12-year-old Rania. Now, she dreams of becoming a doctor. This sentiment is echoed by many, as the academy fosters not only academic growth but also a sense of belonging and ambition.<\/p> \u201cMy greatest achievement is preparing these children to transition confidently into public schools,\u201d<\/p>Huda, English teacher<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure> Throughout the year, students engaged in a diverse curriculum that included Arabic, Math, Science, and English, as well as extracurricular activities like chess, yoga, and poetry. Social skills were strengthened alongside academics, preparing students for a seamless transition into public schools.<\/p> The 2023-2024 academic year concluded with remarkable achievements. 47 students successfully transitioned to public schools, all with 100% pass rates. The 90% retention rate showcases the resilience of the students and the academy\u2019s unwavering commitment to supporting these vulnerable learners.<\/p>
