We’re thrilled to share some incredible achievements from the academic year 2022-23 at Ma’an Academy, where every success story is a triumph of resilience and dedication.

Our commitment to providing quality education to students from vulnerable backgrounds, especially internally displaced persons (IDPs), has resulted in remarkable progress. 

Here are some highlights that truly reflect the spirit of achievement at Ma’an:

๐ŸŒ ย Average Scores Across Subjects:
Across the school, we’ve witnessed outstanding improvements in all subjects. The average scores increased significantly, showcasing the dedication of our students and the effectiveness of our reintegration program:

  • 59% points increase in Arabic
  • 69% points increase in English
  • 57% points increase in Maths

๐Ÿ“ˆ Percentage of Students with Scores Above 80/100:ย 

We’re immensely proud of the achievements made by our students at Ma’an Academy. Every success story is a testament to the hard work, patience, and collaboration between our dedicated teaching team and resilient students.ย 

At the end of the year, over 50% of students achieved a score of 80/100 in Arabic, English, and IT, demonstrating their commitment to academic excellence.

๐Ÿ“Š Assessment Results: A Closer Look:

๐ŸŽฏ Baseline and Endline Assessments:

To ensure accurate measurement of progress, we conducted baseline and endline assessments in Maths, English, Arabic, and IT. The results revealed a substantial improvement across the board.ย 

๐ŸŒŸ Highlighted Achievements:

  • At the beginning of the year, 97% or more of children scored below 50/100 in all subjects during baseline assessments.ย 
  • By the end of the year, less than 10% of children scored below 50/100 in Arabic, less than 5% in English and IT, and less than 3% in Maths.ย 
  • English, initially the subject with the lowest average scores, experienced the most significant progress by the end of the year.
