HUMANITARIAN CORRIDORS

Our work on the legislation

We promoted a bill related to humanitarian corridors at the Republic of San Marino. This was a key step in our journey to ensure a better future for unaccompanied foreign minors. Our perseverance paid off when the Republic of San Marino in April 2021 unanimously approved the bill. This historic moment represented a victory not only for Still I Rise, but for all those who believe in the fundamental rights of every individual.

The Law

This law allows individuals and families to take in unaccompanied foreign minors living in migrant centers or shelters. Unaccompanied foreign minors will be given the possibility of being placed and growing up in a family that can guarantee all the emotional, educational and material support they need. Ourur mission doesn't end here. We look to the future with hope and determination, ready to continue fighting to ensure that all children, wherever they are, have access to a safe environment and a future full of opportunities.
