Still I Rise International School – Nairobi is the only safe heaven and stronghold for International Education in Mathare. Surrounded by kilometers of overcrowded informal settlements, our campus stands out as a uniquely serene and natural oasis before the societal challenges that surround it.

Renovated in two phases between 2020 and 2021, and standing as the main facility on our campus, Ambition Assembly is the center of learning. Flaunting five Future Classrooms, four Homerooms, a Library, an Auditorium, Art, Science, Design and Music labs, and the distinctive Common Room, in addition to offices and staff collaboration spaces, Ambition Arena is the beating heart of the School.

Renovated in 2022, Bravery Building is the perfect auxiliary facility to complement the functions of Ambition Assembly. In the Cafeteria, students and staff members gather together for breakfast, lunch and dinner to enjoy the delicacies of our International Kitchen. While the Gymnasium, showers and locker rooms, Basketball and Soccer Courts, the original prototype of the Class of the Future, and the Director’s offices complete the students’ curricular experience.

Lastly, built from the ground up between 2023 and 2024, Care Court fulfills a long-standing dream at Still I Rise: that of a residential facility equipped to welcome children from situations of extreme hardship or part of the International Scholarship Program, an initiative allowing students from Still I Rise Academies around the world to access the IB pathway. Care Court currently has 30 beds, but can accommodate up to 200 children in case of emergency.
